fear parlor (parler)
2025~26
My father stuttered. I grew up listening and waiting for words to arrive. It taught me patience.I am working towards a sculptural installation titled Fear Parlor (Parler), imagined as a children’s playroom shaped by glossophobia (the fear of public speaking). It reflects my ongoing struggle with voice and expression, and uses playful, unsettling forms that invite viewers to participate and connect in a comic way.
